In the pursuit of power, one must navigate a treacherous landscape, understanding the rules that govern it

48 laws of power book

Yeah I know, there are many haters of all of the Robert Greene’s books outhere, so I hope we’ll get healthy conversation in the comments :)

But anyway the 48 laws of power is a book which is banned in the Utah State Penitentiary.

Should we be scared of this book as somehow a gate to your dark side ?

Aboslutely not !

As Jordan Peterson once said:

“You should be a monster, and then you should learn how to control it “

The path of becoming the best version of ourselves and recognizing our true selves is a non stop fight, which we maybe even can’t win.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” — Carl Jung

When I first starded reading the 48 Laws Of Power, my true purpose was to deepen down aspects of manipulation for my podcast about how to be persuasive (it will start soon).

I definitelly managed to find a lot of information about manipulation, but not only that.

I also had more terrifying and relieving experience, because when I get more attention to the book I like to bring up some memories of my past to that particular “law”.

Maybe it was a little bit strange but all of the memories which I had was from the people that I cut off contact.

It only showed me how much most of it is true to our human nature. I can’t say 100% of the content within this book is correct because I couldn’t find memories to many of the laws.

But, exception proves the rule.

Law 4

Powerful people know how to impress others by saying less.

This law was actually the one which I like to compare myself the most.
It’s not like I’m someone powerful, that would be hilarious.

The fact that silence actually gave me advantage overtime, and I didn’t even realize was amazing for me.

And the fact, that it decreases your odds on saying something completely stupid is a good privelege next to it.

Law 39

Stir up waters to catch fish

How tough is to be calm in today’s world, am I right ?

Anger, stress, anxiety, fear all of this is used to mess up with our mind.

Of course the positive emotions are no exception here.

The best practice you can do is to be calm and objective all time,

However understanding your emotions and not acting towards it, is the best thing which you can possibly do.

Anyway this is the end of this lovely article about a book written by Robert Greene.

I hope you enjoyed reading this such I do reading the 48 laws of power.

I encourage everyone who had not read it yet.

It’s crucial to understand on what basis this world operates or you will be just a pawn in a bigger game.

Enjoy the rest and upcoming day ❤
